I visited Memorial Day weekend with a group of 16. Being a large group on a big weekend, I reached out about reservations. While they don’t do reservations, Jill appreciated the heads-up and assured me they’d be ready for us. Terra was our waitress and was an absolute dream, keeping the many orders straight, recommending drinks and sides, and bringing dessert to the Bride- and groom-to-be we were there to celebrate. Her coworkers were also wonderful. The group brought up multiple times in the rest of our trip how great the staff and food was. It was a major highlight of the weekend and we’ll definitely return the next time we’re in town!

What a wonderful experience! A must go to when your at Lake of the Ozarks. Everything was excellent. We went for our 6th wedding anniversary. I had the lamb pops and my husband had the salmon. Both were excellent. Our waiter was 1st class too! We topped it off with a couple of French press coffees . We loved the excellent music too! So romantic. We will definitely go back!!

This is located right off of KK across from the Oak’s golf course. We loved the warm atmosphere here. It has the feel of a beautiful lodge. Friendly staff and excellent service. The menu is a bit pricey, but for what you get, it is in line with the rest of the lake. The prime rib was amazing, salads were good, and the cashew encrusted chicken was delicious. They bring you bread baked in a flower pot. I had the grilled shrimp. I probably would not do that again. They were just medium sized shrimp grilled. They were kind of underwhelming, but my fellow diner was pleased with hers. They bring out the food on quaint wooden carts. I would go back and try a different entree, as they all looked very good.

We had a great meal at The Chophouse, the staff knew their menu incredibly well and had many dishes that could be made gluten free. Our table included the following dishes: The Porkchop, The Lamb Lollipops, and Chicken Cordon Bleu. Photos of each below. I recommend all of them, along with onion rings and their crab dip. Our meal also came with some bread and butter for a starter. The Chophouse is in my opinion, the premier off water fine dining restaurant at Lake of the Ozarks.

Jones Chop House is a great addition to the Osage Beach dining scene. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is warm and inviting. The drinks are superb. The menu is a delicious mix of classics and new creations. Spiderweb Shrimp and Mussel Fries are not to be missed. Bone-in pork chop is phenomenal. Ribeye is juicy and flavorful. Shrimp and Grits are second to none.

The food here is absolutely amazing. We have been visiting in the Lake of the Ozarks for years. We never even knew this restaurant was around. Mouth watering steaks, great atmosphere, and our server was stellar. Located on KK near Margaritaville. It was not crowded nor rowdy.

An excellent dining experience. The food, service and ambience was top notch. Even the bread, which often gets overlooked, was addicting & delicious. I am thinking about becoming a member at the club downstairs. If you have not seen it, you need to check it out. Highly recommend!!

The exterior of this place does not look like what you would expect for a top chop house, but this is a perfect example of “don’t judge a book by the cover”. The moment you enter you can see it is everything you expected plus more. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Terra, was delightful. She was very helpful and attentive. The food? Oh yea, AMAZING! I enjoyed the Chophouse chicken, French onion soup and my husband ordered the rib eye steak, Mac and cheese, and a salad. The dessert was a spectacular spice carrot cake with just the right amount of delicious cream cheese frosting. When we were leaving we noticed down at the end of the building was a place called Jones Gin Joint. We will be back to check it out. We highly recommend Jones ChopHouse for dinner in you are in the area. Enjoy!
